What stays on your phone

The app stores the diaries and lists you enter or import in this browser on this device. These can contain job details, staff names and roles, working hours, events, materials, plant, photographs and signatures. They are used locally to prepare your diary, handover, reports and backups.

There is no diary server, app account, analytics or advertising in this app. Diary contents are not automatically uploaded to the host or developer. Locations are entered or imported by you; the app does not request GPS location access.

Website hosting and updates

The website host delivers the app files and updates over HTTPS. Normal website requests expose connection information such as your IP address and browser details to the host, which may process this information to operate and secure its service. This is separate from your locally stored diary contents.

Photos, signatures and imported files

Photos you choose are resized on your device for storage and reporting. Signatures are saved as images. Excel lists and backup files are read locally when you select them. The app does not upload these files.

Exports and sharing

Reports, handovers and backups leave the app only when you choose to export or share them. Your chosen app, destination or recipient then handles those copies under its own policies. Choosing cloud storage in your Files app may upload an exported file to that service. Backups contain personal and confidential information and are not password encrypted by this app.

Storage, retention and deletion

Saved diaries remain in local browser storage until deleted or replaced. The app requests persistent storage when you select that option, but your browser may refuse the request. Clearing website data, device policies, storage management or removing the web app can remove local records.

You can delete individual diaries in the app. To remove all locally held records, clear this website’s data in your browser or device settings. An unfinished form may also be stored locally so it can be recovered after closing the page. Clearing website data removes this too.

Exports, backups and messages already shared must be deleted separately. The developer cannot remotely read, recover or delete your local diaries. Use the device screen lock and keep backups in a suitable location.

Workplace use and enquiries

Only enter workplace information you are authorised to record. Your organisation controls how it uses and retains any reports you give it. For questions about deployment or workplace information, contact the colleague or organisation that supplied this app.
